FAQs

Accessibility

Accessible entry is via our main entrance on Parry Street and a unisex accessible bathroom is available for patrons in our Front Yard.

Please email hello@freo.social prior to the event date if you have any other access requirements or concerns and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Companion & Carer Entry

Freo.Social welcomes patrons who require attendant care support at our events.

Patrons who have purchased an event ticket and who require a companion or carer to attend with them are asked to contact the venue via hello@freo.social at least 24 hours prior to the event so that we can arrange a complimentary companion ticket on entry.

Companions are required to present their Government-issued Companion Card at the Ticket Desk.

MEDICAL MARIJUANA POLICY

Freo.Social recognises the changing nature of medications and the recent inclusion of medical marijuana as a prescribed medicine.

With advice from peak industry bodies, we developed the following House Policy regarding the usage of medical marijuana products:

  • Vaping of cannabis, which is prescribed, is permitted, provided it is only consumed in our designated smoking area. A doctor’s prescription must be made available on request from management or security – please bring a hard copy with you to the venue or save it on your phone.

  • Oils, capsules and other edible products are permitted to be consumed only by the patrons they are prescribed to – as above, proof of prescription must be produced upon request.

  • Inhalable products, such as flowers or hash, which are brought into the venue must be kept within their original labelled prescription canister.

Proof of photo ID to match against the prescription may be requested upon entry to the venue.

Currently, the only legal form of consumption of these products is via a vaporizor. At no point are these inhalable products to be smoked (IE, as joints) as the use of these in public is prohibited by the Therapeutic Goods Administration and current laws.

Failure to adhere to this House Policy may lead to you being refused entry or evicted from the venue.
